Dal Tadka

Dal Tadka

Recipe :-

¾ cup Toor Dal
1/4 of a large Onion
1 Tomato
2 Red chillis
2 cups Water
A pinch of Turmeric Powder
3 pods Garlic
2 Tsp JK Dairy Umang Danedar Pure Ghee
1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds/Jeera
A pinch Asafoetida
½ Cup fresh coriander
Salt to taste

Clean and wash toor dal. Chop onions, tomato, garlic and tomato. Pressure cook all these together with turmeric powder and water for 3 to 4 whistles. Once the pressure eases, open the cooker, add salt and mash the dal well. Heat a pan with JK Dairy Umang Danedar Shudh Ghee, add cumin seeds, asafoetida and red chilli. When it crackles, and finally add it to the cooked dal.

Ghee Rice

Ghee Rice

Recipe :-

¼ Cup JK Dairy Umang Danedar Pure Ghee
1 ½ Cup Basmati Rice soaked
1 ½ Cup finely chopped Onions
1 Tsp Garlic
3-4 Cloves and Cardamom

Fry the onions and garlic with JK Dairy Umang Danedar Pure Ghee and then add the spices. Add the rice and 3 ½ cups of water and cook for 2 whistles. Once the steam as escaped separate the rice with a fork.

Banana with Ghee and Cinnamon

Banana with Ghee and Cinnamon

Recipe :-

1 Banana
¼ Tsp Cinnamon
2 Tsp JK Dairy Umang Danedar Pure Ghee
¼ Tsp ginger

Shallow fry the bananas in the JK Dairy Umang Danedar Pure Ghee in a pan, till they are soft brown. Sprinkle on the spices while they are still hot. You can add chopped nuts to give the taste an extra punch.
